The philosophy of life
Aristotle
Asserted the use of logic as a method of argument and offered
the basic methodological template for analytical discourse
KNOW ABOUT PHILOSOPHY……
Philosophy can
be simply expressed as the collection of various fields including nature, love,
reality, knowledge, ethics, and life lessons that pursue a peaceful life. It is
true that philosophy could establish the truth of certain fundamental questions
that tend to refer to what is and what should be, and also how we can know what
it is. They also tend to think in ethics, metaphysics, epistemology, politics,
and aesthetics. Philosophical (critical) thinking protects us against unfounded
ideology, unwarranted authority, unfounded beliefs, unfounded propaganda, and
questionable cultural values. These forces can manipulate us if we cannot think
critically about them. This does not require a rejection of these various
ideas, beliefs and values, only a reflection on them. Otherwise, they are not
our values, ideas or beliefs; we have accepted them second hand.
IN MY POINT OF VIEW……
The study of philosophy is "invaluable in whatever career you choose to pursue." Keep in mind, however, that in addition to giving you skills to be more successful in any job, there is another part of education in general and philosophy in particular that is not emphasized much in today's performance-based society. Education in general and the study of philosophy can change who you are. Philosophy has always played a special role in establishing and shaping a person's perspective. Philosophy is the main function of the orientation of a person in the world of nature and society. Everyone at some point in their life is faced with the need to choose and, therefore, exercises their freedom. Philosophy designed to help you make the right choice. The philosophy turned to the world of values, creates the theory of value to solve this problem. His philosophy provides a scale to evaluate phenomena establishes a hierarchy of values and promotes their revaluation in a changing world. The history of humanity is the history of knowledge in itself and in the world around it, which is based on practical activities. Now there are profound changes in the content of public practice in the conditions of search for the solution of new problems and therefore there is a need for development of the theory that has to not only correctly reflect, but also define an orientation of social development modern The philosophically minded person imagines the major trends in the development of the world, society and knowledge. The person can also relate his life to these trends and understand his place in this development. Philosophy forms the worldview of people, as it largely determines their behavior and approaches to making decisions on a particular problem.
A REVIEW FROM BERTRAND RUSSELL AND HIS ARTICLE
Some philosophers argue that philosophy is
different from other sciences because it is not intended to give different
answers, but actually raises more questions. It is within this concept that the
self is seen. Russell argues that when we seek to try to reduce the
complexities of the human mind to only specific answers and deny the essence of
the unknown, self growth stunts and development stops. Only through understanding
oneself as understanding the unlimited supply of questions of philosophy can
the self be fully improved. It is also important that both the self and the
search through philosophy are animated by more questions, where seemingly
intellectual insecurity and a healthy dose of doubt prevail more than any
notion of absolute answers. A somewhat important
aspect of philosophy that is intriguing is the argument that deals with the
search for knowledge through the holding of uncertain perspectives of all beliefs
about things that possibly claim to exist by the so-called "practical
man": In his article Russell describes some of the bodies of knowledge
such as psychology, among others, which, according to him, are currently
nowhere to be found in the philosophical body of knowledge. People also argue
that one of the ways that one would ensure that one gains greater value from
philosophy is to hold any belief with suspicion and through a series of
questions. that mainly do not necessarily have to have definite answers, they
reveal the truth behind the belief.
AREAS OF PHILOSOPHY
To relieve a student of the daunting task of
going through thick books and denser literature of philosophy, the experts have
came up with the idea of creating various branches of philosophy, which can be
discussed further and have sparked in famous debates in this field of
philosophy. Some of them are,
·
Metaphysics: It encompasses everything that exists, as well
as the nature of existence itself. It says whether the world is real, or merely
an illusion. It is a fundamental view of the world around us.
·
Epistemology: It explains how we think. To reach
beyond nature as we perceive it, and to discover the real nature or real matter
and their ultimate essence and the reasons for being.
·
ETHICS: Ethics is a code of values which guide our
choices and actions and determine the purpose of our lives.
·
Aesthetics: A branch of philosophy deals with nature
of beauty
CONCLUSION:
The quality of the activity depends on the quality of the personality training, and in the context of a problem considered, the changes corresponding to its activity in the personality structure are assumed. The person, understanding external reality, also reflects reality itself. On the one hand, he possesses the ability to randomly enter into the sphere of consciousness any representation and, on the other hand, - to become aware of the phenomena that occur in his consciousness, to control the processes that occur in it. By observing the resulting changes in the outside world, the resulting people learn not only the outside world, but also themselves.
